Pink Cabs is a benevolent initiative by a group of Bangalore
professionals in an endeavor to uplift Women's significance in the
field of transportation. The main objective of Pink Cabs is to
establish a Cab service that furnishes security assurance to the
female commuters while accommodating financial adequacy to the women
of needy. It employs under privileged and unemployed women with basic
knowledge of driving for their Cab Services offered in Bangalore. It
is a Win-Win concept originated from a very noble thinking.
Driving is all about directions, steering and correct movements. Who
else can do it better than a woman who is habituated to balance all
the the above skills with patience, adroitness and equanimity. In the
growing times of security threat, a complete women-driven cab service
becomes a salvation to female population.
Pink Cabs hires women drivers by conducting a few rounds of
interviews to scrutinize applicant's profile and conduct. Upon
selection, the management gives training from experts to the women in
driving and self-defense. Currently, Pink cabs is looking for women
who possess fearless attitude and ambitious nature, and know basics
of driving. Women from below poverty line are preferred.
Pink Cabs is presently conducting an opinion poll in Facebook to know
people's pulse. Till now, the poll has been very positive towards
women drivers with more than 95% members choosing women cab drivers.
